Making money in The Forge becomes extremely important once you start buying better pickaxes, forging high-value armor, or preparing for late-game upgrades. Many players get stuck around the $30k–$80k range because they don’t know which activities actually scale well.

This guide covers the three best methods to make money fast — quests, forging armor, and mob farming — including optimized strategies so you don’t waste time.

1. Method One — Quests

Quests are the easiest and quickest way to stack your first big amounts of cash. Many early- and mid-game quests give between $1,000–$10,000, and they don’t require good gear.

Example: The Monke Quest in Forgotten Kingdom

One of the best beginner quests is from Monke in the Forgotten Kingdom.

How his quests work:

• Quest 1 → small reward
• Quest 2 → medium reward
• Quest 3 → $10,000 reward

To finish Quest 3, you need:

Bananite drops from rocks in the starter island caves(Iron alley).

2. Method Two — Forging Armor

Once you understand how forging works, this becomes the method that prints money.

Selling raw ores to Greedy Cey is terrible. You’ll make pennies.

But forging armor → selling armor?
That’s where the real money begins.

Experienced players use this to reach hundreds of thousands quickly.

✔ Step 1 — Mine Until Your Stash Is Full

Fill your inventory with ores from any area you like.

Ores you should SAVE for real gear:

• Legendary ores
• Epic ores like:
  • Rivalite
  • Poopite
  • Obsidian
  • Eye Ore
  • Lightite

These are too valuable to waste on armor you plan to sell.

Ores to use for forging money armor:

• Common
• Uncommon
• Rare
• Low-value epics (if you must)

✔ Step 2 — Forge Until You See 3 Heavy Armor Options

Your goal is to force the forge into giving you Heavy Chestplate, Heavy leggings or heavy helmet because they sell for a lot.

How to do it:

1. Start forging
2. Add ores
3. Keep combining until the first three options are heavy armor

This gives the highest value per ore spent.

The forging minigame determines your quality.

Tips:

• Hit as many Perfects as possible
• Even one “Good” lowers your profit
• Add in epics like Ruby or Emerald to increase base multiplier
