How to get Prismatic Pickaxe in The Forge Roblox

Overview

The Prismatic Pickaxe is one of the best pickaxes available in the Frostspire Expanse island in The Forge. However, unlocking it requires accessing a hidden area sealed behind a massive iceberg.

Originally, this iceberg could be broken with lower-damage pickaxes, but after a recent update, the requirement was changed. You now need at least 500 base damage on your pickaxe to break the ice and obtain the key item needed to buy the Prismatic Pickaxe.

Where the Prismatic Pickaxe Is Located

The Prismatic Pickaxe is sold in the Frostspire Expanse for 2,000,000 gold.
However, it is locked and cannot be purchased until you obtain a secret skeleton hidden behind an iceberg in a hidden area.

This skeleton acts as a key that unlocks the purchase.

Breaking the Iceberg

To access the hidden area and retrieve the skeleton, you must break a block of ice guarding the entrance.

Current Requirement (After Update)

• Minimum required base damage: 500
• Pickaxes below 500 damage will not break the iceberg

Old Requirement (No Longer Works)

• Previously, pickaxes with around 320 damage could break the ice
• The Snow Pickaxe was once enough
• This has now been patched

If you were able to use the Snow Pickaxe before, that was only possible before the update.

Required Pickaxe: Void Pickaxe

The Void Pickaxe is currently the recommended and most accessible option that meets the damage requirement.

Void Pickaxe details:

• Base damage: 550
• Cost: 1,350,000 gold
• Rune slots: 3
• Easily clears the iceberg damage check

Once you have the Void Pickaxe, return to the hidden area in Frostspire Expanse and break the iceberg to access the skeleton.

Steps to unlock the Prismatic Pickaxe

1. Travel to Frostspire Expanse
2. Purchase the Void Pickaxe
3. Locate the hidden iceberg area
4. Break the iceberg using a 500+ damage pickaxe
5. Collect the secret skeleton key
6. Gain access to purchase the pickaxe
7. Purchase the Prismatic Pickaxe for 2,000,000 gold
