Intro
Abyss is finally dropping on February 8, 2026! It’s a huge open-world fishing RPG on Roblox where we’ll be hunting down over 500 unique fish. But this isn’t your typical "sit and wait" fishing game—you're diving into the ocean, managing oxygen, and using harpoon guns to catch fish while dodging whatever terrors are lurking in the deep.

How The Game Works
Harpoons: Forget fishing rods. In Abyss, you use Guns (Harpoons). You have to actually aim at the fish swimming around you and beat a minigame to reel them in.
Tubes: Your "Tube" is your lifeline. It determines your Oxygen Capacity, Max weight and your Max Depth. If you want to reach the crazy biomes deep down, upgrading your Tube is the #1 priority since going to areas your tube cant handle will result in depletion of your oxygen faster.
Races: You can roll for Races. These aren't just cosmetic; they give you passive buffs that can totally change your game.
Locations/Biomes: The map is vertical. As you get better gear, you can dive deeper into new Biomes. Each layer has its own exclusive fish that you can't find anywhere else.
Artifacts: Special charms you equip for buffs like faster swim speed, higher damage or increasing oxygen capacity.
NPCs & Secrets: Don't ignore the NPCs! Talking to them unlocks secret Questlines and lore about the world. Finishing questlines give good rewards.

Beginner? Start here:
1. The Forgotten Deep
When you first load in, you'll see a cinematic and spawn in The Forgotten Deep. This is the safe zone.
2. Talk to The Kraken
Go straight to the NPC named The Kraken. He gives you the tutorial. You have to finish this before the game lets you explore properly.
3. The Loop
- Catch fish with your starter gun.
- Sell them at the Kraken for cash.
- Upgrade your Tube first (to survive longer), then your Harpoon.
4. Follow the Quests
Don't just wander aimlessly. Follow the Kraken's quests—they are the fastest way to level up. Once you finish his questline, you'll get access to the Second Biome.
